Affiche d’un show de Ste Cath qui n’a jamais vraiment eu lieu.
C’était supposé se passer en dessous de l’overpass Van Horne, mais il y a eu de la pluie, faque au lieu d’annuler au complet, on est allés jouer au Turbo Haus et ce n’était vraiment pas si le fun que ça.
La seule affaire qui a été cool, c’est que le band du fils à Fred a pu jouer en première partie de nous.
Ça, c’était cute.
Mais le show lui même, bof.
J’aurais vraiment mieux aimé jouer en dessous de l’overpass, gratuitement, dehors.
C’était le 20e anniversaire du band cette fois là, et l’an prochain, c’est le 20e anniversaire de notre album le plus populaire.
Si je suis la logique, il va faire vraiment, vraiment beau pour notre show du 20e anniversaire de Dancing, qui sera aussi dehors et gratos.
Je donne ici un scoop pour les fans du band.
Je me dis qu’il ne doit pas y avoir tant de monde que ça qui vont lire la description d’un poster d’un show qui n’a pas eu lieu.
Par contre, le design est vraiment dope.
Quelqu’un ici sait qui a fait ce design ?

Après, je ne sais pas par cœur l’ordre de l’album. Sorry.
Mais je suis certain que la toune d’après tue, parce que toutes les tounes de cet album sont bonnes.
Check… ça arrive. On était direct dessus à l’époque.
C’est une affaire d’une vie.
J’aurais juste aimé que ça n’arrive pas quand j’avais juste 25 ans, mais que je feelais comme si j’en avais 40.
C’est un moteur très fort, vouloir faire l’album d’une vie.
Il y a du monde qui essaient toute leur vie sans réussir.
C’est plate pour eux, mais au moins, ça leur donne du gaz pour continuer.
Moi, à 25 ans, j’étais comme… ouin, j’ai fait Art Of Arrogance, semi chef d’œuvre, El Rancho, chef d’œuvre, pis Dancing For Decadence, chef d’œuvre ultime… il me reste quoi à faire ? Faire chier le monde.
Ah non, je faisais déjà ça…

It was supposed to take place under the Van Horne overpass, but it rained, so instead of canceling everything, we went to play at Turbo Haus and it really wasn’t that fun.
The only cool thing was that Fred’s son’s band got to open for us.
That part was cute.
But the show itself, meh.
I would have much rather played under the overpass, outside, for free.
It was the band’s 20th anniversary that time, and next year is the 20th anniversary of our most popular album.
If I follow the logic, it’s going to be really, really nice weather for our 20th anniversary show for Dancing, which will also be outside and free.
I’m dropping a scoop here for the fans.
I’m guessing there aren’t that many people who will read the description of a poster for a show that never happened.
That said, the design is really dope.

That’s a once in a lifetime thing.
I just wish it hadn’t happened when I was only 25, but already feeling like I was 40.
Wanting to make the album of a lifetime is a powerful engine.
Some people try their whole lives and never get there.
That sucks for them, but at least it gives them fuel to keep going.
Me, at 25, I was like… yeah, I made Art Of Arrogance, semi masterpiece, El Rancho, masterpiece, and Dancing For Decadence, ultimate masterpiece… what’s left to do ? Piss people off.
Oh wait, I was already doing that…
